The Promo Championship is a de-activated Max Wrestling title which was held by final champion Travis Anderson in his second reign - making him the second two-time Promo Champion. The Championship was decided by public vote for the best promo cut by the challenger or champion. The inaugural Champion was crowned at Promo Series 3: Lethal Games in the final of the Promo Climax tournament, where Emir "Blackbane" Costello defeated The B******.
Larkin became the first Max Wrestling double champion as he was still Knowledge Champion when he won the Promo Title at PromoSlam 4. This feat was repeated by The Phoenix at Podcast Promo Rumble 6 in 2021, who was also Predictions Champion at the time. Thus far, there has not been a multiple time Promo Champion. This is a seperate Title to the Promo Championship originally created by Max Wrestling in 2015, which was only held by The B****** and Evan Makeba before being retired due to personal issues. Despite being listed as the event the match took place, days held were counted from the day the result was announced - which was usually the Monday following each event. Much like it's predecessor, the Promo Championship was de-activated due to personal issues on September 30th, 2021. All promo competition was also ceased. |
The final and ninth champion Travis "The Walker" Anderson defeated Moses Marquez at
PromoSlam 2021, becoming the 2nd person to win the title twice - a record which was previously only held by Marquez. |
