Promo Series
Promo Series is the annual Max Wrestling Podcast special which takes place in November, the weekend of WWE's Survivor Series.
Promo Series 2 was the first special to receive its own subtitle, "Sudden Death." It also introduced a new format exclusively for Promo Series, in that the Knowledge Championship is defended right from the outset in a winner-stays-on gauntlet, despite the added pressure, the Knowledge Championship has only changed hands at Promo Series once.
Promo Series 3 introduced a new version of the Promo Championship in the final of the first Promo Climax tournament, as Emir "BlackBane" Costello became the inaugural Champion.
As of 2020, Promo Series features the winners of the PromoBowl challenging for the Promo Championship.
Of all the specials, Promo Series logos remained the closest in style until 2020.
In 2021, the Ring Of Games was introduced on the Promo Series 6 Pre-Launch Show, which crowned the inaugural Television Champion, Moses Marquez.
