This event was the first original special event introduced to the Max Wrestling calendar since The Maxies in 2018 and is named after AEW's July special: Fight For The Fallen. The Television Champion defended against the winner of the 2022 Ring Of Games cup. This event also marked the final appearance of The Jester. For four weeks prior to this event, four rounds of mini Ring Of Games will take place on Max Wrestling with the overall winner going on to challenge the Television Champion. It was also announced on June 30th, that a new design for the Television Title would debut at this event. On July 7th, Moses Marquez won the Ring Of Games Cup, earning his shot at the TV Title. During Fight For The Knowledge's initial promotion, it was announced the Knowledge Championship would be defended in classic Full Trivia Mayhem, featuring several rounds of special match types with an elimination process. While Anderson holds both the Knowledge and Television Titles going into this event, following his success at Trivia Takeover: Lucky Number 7, he is also scheduled to challenge The Captain for the World Championship at PromoSlam. As such, The Captain's alter-ego The Jester is scheduled to address Anderson. event
With the Knowledge Championship contested in classic "Full Trivia Mayhem", the five rounds were spread out over the course of the show. The match remained close throughout the contest and ended in a three-way tie with everyone on seven points. Anderson then retained the title in a sudden death round. After several weeks of promos from Mike Larkin had gone unacknowledged on the show, The Captain finally answered Larkin's final promo on this show, inviting him to the 400th episode in November. The Phoenix appeared on the show with a promo, challenging The Demoness to a promo exhibition at PromoSlam 2022. The two have never crossed paths before, despite both being former promo champions and headliners at PromoMania. The new design for the Television Championship was revealed before Marquez challenged Anderson in a 2-2 tie, which also went into overtime - won by Marquez, making him the first ever two-time Television Champion. In the final segment, The Jester cut a promo addressing Anderson ahead of Anderson's World Title match against The Captain at PromoSlam 2022. During the promo, The Jester was interrupted by The Shape in another realm mirroring the real world. After the two exchanged words, The Shape summoned Stormbreaker, which burst through The Jester's chest. The Shape then watched The Jester fall dead before The Captain awoke and was left with "Good luck at PromoSlam" from The Shape. Matches
